The Monarchs of Andorith was a [http://www.lamemage.com/microscope/ Microscope: Union] game played by the creators of Andorith to flesh out an earlier, formative, history of the city through recounting a multi-generational lineage of historical rulers. In Union the timeline ends with one individual affecting a singular event. It then details the ancestral tree of that individual backward for three generations to encompass parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. In total, fifteen major and many minor characters are created and their lives sketched out to varying degrees of detail.
