Rafferty Longhorn

Son of Amaith and Carokole. Father of Drcaet. Bonded to Castillola Lonedrake. A human-sized cyclops with angel wings. One of the founding members of the Wyirde.

Early Life

As the son of two great minds of Andorith, Rafferty was giving a great amount of support in his youth, despite his monstrous appearance. He was given the best education and exposure to the many nuances of the world. As he grew, his parent has disagreement about Rafferty's path; Carokole wanted him to be a healer and continue research of medical magic, where Amaith wanted Rafferty to be free to chose his own path. Despite his parents slow divorce over this issue, he quickly grew into a great intelectual, leader and warrior.

The Architect of the Wyirde

Rafferty's first great accomplishment is the formation of the Wyirde as an independent entity. Given it's location on one of the Andorith leylines, many forces in the city wanted control of it's power. By playing the great powers against each other, Rafferty managed to carve out a safe haven where all the strange creatures of city could life in peace.

Lieutenant Rafferty

Did love exist between Castillola and Rafferty? They created a child, yes. They fought together, yes. But outside observers always seemed to characterize the relationship as one of general and advisor. Perhaps a relationship of mercenary and lord?

Regardless, Rafferty put his life on the line for Castillola, providing her with access to his psychic abilities. However, the demands of the battles took a toll on him and he was left permanently debilitated.

Death

After successfully hunting down his partner's mother, Ederene Rafferty is killed when he finally confronts her.
