Ederene Aingeru

Daughter of a powerful southern merchant, mother of Castillola Lonedrake and wife of Mourner Lonedrake, Ederene was a notorious spy.

Life as a Spy

Ederene's only purpose in Andorith was to expand the powers of those outside of the city into Andorith. When the young duke Mourner Lonedrake fell in love with her, she saw it as an opportunity more than anything else. She never loved him. She used him.

Children and Departure

Ederene had a number miscarriages, resulting in Castillola being her only living child.

Miscarriages are actually pretty common for people of draconic lineage mating with those who have none! -Bastaphol

When Mourner died in a jousting accident eight years into their marriage, she was unable to maintain control of their estate in Andorith and returned to her home country, leaving Castillola behind to be raised by advisors.

Fall

Later in life, Ederene is hunted down by the her daughter and Rafferty Longhorn. Little is known of her fate. Perhaps she died? Perhaps she escaped? Historians still debate to this day.
