The Monarchs of Andorith was a Microscope: Union game played by the creators of Andorith to flesh out an earlier, formative, history of the city through recounting a multi-generational lineage of historical rulers. Union is a variant of the normal Microscope game by Ben Robbins as specified in the supplement Microscope: Explorer. In Union the timeline ends with one individual affecting a singular event. It then details the ancestral tree of that individual backward for three generations to encompass parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. In total, fifteen major and many minor characters are created and their lives sketched out to varying degrees of detail.
This game follows the ancestral tree of King Alouitious IV who lived approximately 300 years before the reference (i.e. "present") time.
