The Black Chamber of the Commerce Guild is an assembly of liches and their attendants who run the Great Market. Their motto is "First Respect Paperwork, then Respect Hierarchy." Members and those associated with the Black Chamber always seem to have the right papers.
Dhex'rhoos the Green Baron, a well-connected produce-shop proprietor and maverick produce hybridizer, is a high-ranking member of the guild.
Violet Scar, the Walking Dim, was employed for a time by the Commerce Guild. Violet Scar's mind was uniquely well suited to endless spreadsheets and paperwork.

The House of Customs Authority performs inspections on Great Market stalls.
The Black Chamber of the Commerce Guild has allowed the criminal Dimmer Gang to open a permanent stall in the Great Market. This is widely seen as a slap to tHoCa's authority and has caused tension between the Black Chamber and the House of Customs Authority.
Relationship with the Dimmer Gang
The Dimmer Gang is an Andorith-based criminal organization active primarily in the UnderDim and Night Market. To the shock of many, they have been allowed to open a permanent Great Market stall. Great Market business owners initially complained but ultimately settled for shameless gossip satisfied with fees. Recently an urban legend panic has caused Customs to enact curfew for minors in Prime Market. While this boosts business in the Great Market, the increased heat on the Dimmer Gang is popularizing the Dimmer Gang's stall.
