The Peace Dreamers are a semi-secret [[halfling]] society in [[Green Maw|the Green Maw]]. They believe that the [[Dreamers]] of the Maw began as normal trees awakened by the halflings long ago. Some Dreamers felt that they were being subjugated by the halflings so they rebelled, turning against the halflings. This was the start of the generations long [[Pollen Wars]]. The Peace Dreamers seek to reconcile the two races and reunite them in friendship. They're playing a long game, seeking to change halfling culture from within by planting seeds of trust and good will towards the Dreamers within halfling culture. They do this principally by placing Peace Dreamers in positions of authority to mitigate reactive response to alleged Dreamer attacks. They will send investigators to the sites to help show that Dreamers are not actually involved. | |||
