Glitter Droplet is a human male from Old Town. He works as a punk musician at The Rampant Griffin, the remodeled derelict remains of the once famous sailing vessel of the legendary pirate Drcaet of the Chaotic Seas.

Life

Early Life

Born and raised in the Prime Market to a prominent family of merchants, Glitter rebelled against the regimented and authoritarian nature of both his family and the neighborhood. Against his family's wishes he taught himself music and eschewed the family business. When Glitter became an age to be apprenticed he arranged to be accepted to the Wizards' Tower, changed his name, and formally renounced his family affiliation.

Wizarding Years

It was at the Wizards' Tower that Glitter met, befriended, and roomed with Kapel Vermeulen. During his studies there, Glitter heard rumors of the White Whale telling of its discovery and dark history. He became obsessed with finding it and threw himself into his studies. It's even rumored that he worked with Kapel to trade his Familial Soul, which he no longer valued, in exchange for acquiring the White Whale. Soul Mages claim that such a thing is impossible as it would sever an individual from this Plane. Indeed, if Glitter and Kapel truly conspired to attempt this unorthodox, and dangerous, act it was likely only partially successful. Yet it may explain Glitter's access to the Unforgettable Riff and Weird Reality Bending Power. It wasn't long afterward that Glitter left the Wizards' Tower and found his way to Old Town.

The Rampant Griffin

At the time, there was no place in Andorith that embodied the punk philosophy and aesthetic better than the Rampant Griffin in Old Town. While a talented musician in his own right, Glitter got a job at the Griffin as a stagehand, assisting the various acts with their performances. From that vantage he was able to learn a great deal about performing, stagecraft, and reading a crowd while developing his own style and aesthetic. Eventually he would take to 1337 Busking the streets of Old Town more for the practice than the money, although he did well with both. In time he would begin to fill in for sick performers or missing acts at the Griffin, gaining his own reputation and following. While Glitter didn't create glitter punk, he certainly helped put it on the map and would become known as the "Emissary of the Glitterati." His skills with stagecraft combined with what he learned at the Wizards' Tower also developed his expertise as a Magic Roadie where clever, and timely, application of talents such as One of the Crew, Cantrips, and his signature Glitterfall were put to spectacular effect. It may have come from his all-consuming effort to find the White Whale, or the position of the Rampant Griffin directly on a Ley Line, so some combination, but whatever it was Glitter had an uncanny talent to Energy Siphon from his audience further empowering his performances.
