Rothare is a frontier town in the Bristlecone Alliance. It is home to the Bristlecone Alliance ranger headquarters. You are more likely to see non-halflings here than most other places in Bristlecone Alliance, as rangers deposit hapless visitors here after rescue.
Rothare has only a few inns and public places such as the market, so these locations tend to have many patrons.
The permanent residents seem furtive in public. A civilian militia kept full via negotiated conscription is managed by the town elder Gwedra.
